Handling Times
We do our best to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. You'll receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Standard Shipping
From dispatch — Estimated Delivery within 2 to 6 business days.

Express Shipping
From dispatch — Estimated Delivery within 1 to 3 business days.
Please note: Express Shipping refers to the delivery method your order is sent with and does not shorten handling or processing times.

Deliveries to rural or remote areas may take a few extra business days for both Standard and Express Shipping.

Delivery Times
This refers to the time it takes for your order to travel from our warehouse to its destination after it has been dispatched. Aussie Hobbies uses third-party delivery services, and delivery times are based on estimates provided by these carriers.

Please note that delivery timeframes may vary during peak periods or due to unforeseen delays and are measured in business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) from the shipped date — this does not include handling time.

All delivery times are outside the control of Aussie Hobbies and are provided as estimates only. Aussie Hobbies is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services once your order has been dispatched. If your order is delayed or lost in transit, please contact us and we'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Dispatch Delays During Sale Periods
During storewide sales, increased order volumes may cause minor dispatch delays. While most orders are shipped promptly, processing times may be extended.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during these busy periods.

Oversize Items

Items larger than 1 metre in any dimension are considered oversize and cannot be sent via Australia Post. These items must be shipped by courier and may incur additional freight charges.

Because couriers require a signature upon delivery, someone must be home to receive the parcel, or a delivery slip may be left. Oversize items cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.

Dangerous Goods

Certain products — such as rocket engines, aerosol paints, and RC fuel — are classified as Dangerous Goods and require special handling and courier delivery, which may attract additional fees.

A recipient must be present at the delivery address to receive these items, or a delivery slip will be left. Dangerous Goods cannot be shipped to PO Boxes.

Please note: Rocket engines of size E or larger cannot be shipped and must be collected in-store.

Free Freight & Terms

Shipping promotions and free freight offers apply to eligible orders within Australia only, unless otherwise stated.

The Free Freight option applies to online orders only and may change without notice due to market conditions. Large, heavy, bulky, and/or Dangerous Goods are excluded from free freight offers, and we reserve the right to quote freight separately for these products.

International Shipping

We ship internationally to select regions. Delivery timeframes vary by destination and are provided as estimates only.

New Zealand
Standard Secured Shipping: 4–18 business days
Express Secured Shipping: 2–10 business days

Asia, the Pacific, North America & Western Europe
Standard Secured Shipping: 10–28 business days

Other Regions (Worldwide)
Standard Secured Shipping: 14–30 business days

International Shipping Restrictions

Due to international air freight and customs regulations, some products sold by Aussie Hobbies cannot be shipped outside Australia.

The following items cannot be sent internationally under any circumstances:

  • Paints and paint-related chemicals (including acrylics, enamels, lacquers, thinners, removers, and spray paints)

  • Batteries (including LiPo, Li-Ion, NiMH, and other rechargeable batteries)

  • Gel blaster parts and accessories

  • Gel blaster ammunition (gel balls)

If an international order is placed that includes any of these restricted items, the order will need to be cancelled and refunded.

These restrictions are due to international dangerous goods regulations, airline safety policies, and customs restrictions, which are outside our control.

We appreciate your understanding and recommend reviewing product descriptions carefully before placing international orders.

If you are unsure whether an item can be shipped internationally, please contact us before placing your order and we’ll be happy to assist.

Important Shipping Restrictions

Please note that we are currently unable to ship any Dangerous Goods (DG) items due to freight approval requirements.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Aerosol spray paints

  • Flammable liquids and chemicals

  • Model engines

  • Certain adhesives, thinners, and related products

These items are currently marked on their product pages as “Dangerous Goods – Pick Up Only” and are temporarily unavailable for postage.

If an order is placed that includes any Dangerous Goods items, we may need to remove and refund those items before shipping the remaining products, or cancel and refund the order if it cannot be fulfilled.

We appreciate your understanding while we complete the necessary Dangerous Goods shipping approvals.


Order Changes

If you need to make changes to your order, please email us within 24 hours of placing your order and we'll do our best to make the required changes. If your order has already been shipped, we won't be able to make alterations. Please ensure your details are correct to avoid disappointment.

Sustainable Packaging

At Aussie Hobbies, we care about reducing our carbon footprint. To help minimise waste, we often reuse boxes and packaging materials when sending out online orders. Rest assured, while the box may not always look brand new, your items inside will always be securely packed and protected.

By reusing cartons and materials wherever possible, we’re doing our bit for the environment — and we thank you for supporting us in this effort.

Terms & Conditions

A quote may be required for orders that exceed 10 kg, have excessive dimensions, are being delivered to rural areas or have been listed with incorrect weights or dimensions.
